Prevention Coalitions
Individuals and organizations are forming prevention coalitions to address domestic and sexual violence preventions in ways that resonate with their local context. The following community coalitions are working to prevent violence locally:
- Anchorage: Anchorage Alliance for Violence Prevention
- Homer: Homer Prevention Project
- Juneau: Juneau’s Pathways to Prevent Violence
- Ketchikan: Ketchikan Wellness Coalition
- Sitka: Pathways to a Safer Sitka
Local Prevention Plans
Three Alaskan communities have developed plans devoted to the primary prevention of domestic and sexual violence which are found below:
