Alaska has one of the highest rates of domestic violence and sexual assault in the United States.
In Alaska, 40 out of every 100 women have experienced domestic violence and 33 out of 100 women have experienced sexual violence. ANDVSA works to connect and support all victim service agencies in Alaska. We provide training to direct legal services to survivors and assistance to legal advocates, advocacy training to members, prevention programming, legislative and policy advocacy and create numerous resources. Ultimately, we believe that all people deserve to live free from violence, and we are committed to ending violence and oppression through social change.
Alaskans can donate to ANDVSA by donating a portion of their Permanent Fund Dividend to Alaska Network on Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault through the Pick.Click.Give program. In order to donate, simply choose “Alaska Network on Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault” when you sign up for your PFD.
