ad On, national and local speakers engage youth from all regions of the state through presentations on various topics, including healthy relationships, non-violence, leadership, positive choices and community involvement.
Additionally, youth leaders are fully involved in planning the conference, and at least a third of work shops are youth led. Previous youth led presentations include “How to Start Your Own Leadership Program”,“Plan and See”, “Outdoor Leadership”, and “Let’s Talk About It: Teens Speak Out About Healthy Relationships”. Youth also create plans to change their own communities, by planning projects with their peers around topics they care about.
