{"id":15753,"date":"2023-05-23T11:40:45","date_gmt":"2023-05-23T19:40:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/andvsa.org\/?post_type=avada_portfolio&#038;p=15753"},"modified":"2023-05-23T11:40:45","modified_gmt":"2023-05-23T19:40:45","slug":"sart-nurse-examiner-sane","status":"publish","type":"avada_portfolio","link":"https:\/\/andvsa.org\/blog\/job-postings\/sart-nurse-examiner-sane\/","title":{"rendered":"SART Nurse Examiner | SANE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>SART Nurse Examiner\/$40k Sign-on Bonus<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"job-description-salary-details\"><strong><span class=\"job-description-salary-label\">Salary Range:<\/span><\/strong>$44.93 Hourly Onwards<\/div>\n<div class=\"job-description-data-item\">\n<div class=\"job-description-data\">\n<div>\n<p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Position Title:<\/strong>\u00a0SANE\/SART Nurse Examiner<\/p>\n<p><strong>Department:<\/strong>\u00a0SANE\/SART<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reports To:\u00a0<\/strong>SANE\/SART Manager<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>Purpose of Position:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To conduct medical-forensic assessment, examination and documentation (including forensic photography and evidence collection) for adult, adolescent and pediatric patients reporting a history of sexual assault or abuse.<\/p>\n<p>Uphold the organization\u2019s vision, mission, and corporate values. \u00a0Demonstrate understanding of and compliance with organization\u2019s policies, procedures, code of conduct and work rules.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential Functions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Performs medical-forensic assessment, examination, patient care, and documentation per the SANE\/SART Program Policies &amp; Procedures and Medical Standing Orders.<\/li>\n<li>Develops a discharge plan of care that addresses the patient\u2019s needs (medical, emotional and safety) and that contains appropriate referrals.<\/li>\n<li>Communicates the exam findings to the patient and the SANE\/SART Manager. Communicates with law enforcement, OCS, and CAC when appropriate, per program P&amp;Ps.<\/li>\n<li>Participates in the SANE On-Call Schedule as needed by the department.<\/li>\n<li>Participates in Quarterly SANE Team meetings for case review, quality assurance, quality improvement, and clinical education.<\/li>\n<li>Participates in Monthly CAC MDT meetings and SART MDT meetings for case review, quality assurance, quality improvement and clinical education.<\/li>\n<li>Provides testimony in court as an expert\/fact witness when subpoenaed.<\/li>\n<li>Participates in a preceptor ship with a certified SANE-A or SANE-P to achieve clinical competency and qualification to apply for certification as SANE-A, SANE-P.<\/li>\n<li>Travels to villages for education\/training of clinic staff and
