Comprehensive Support Services

Our member programs offer a wide range of confidential services designed to meet the diverse needs of those they serve. These services may include:

  • Safe Shelter: Providing emergency housing for individuals and families in need of a safe place to stay.
  • 24-Hour Hotlines: Offering round-the-clock support and crisis intervention to those in urgent need.
  • Basic Necessities: Supplying food, clothing, and other essential items to help individuals and families in crisis.
  • Transportation Assistance: Ensuring that those in need can access services and support, no matter where they are located.
  • Advocacy: Empowering survivors with the support they need to navigate complex systems and access vital resources.
  • Legal Advocacy & Court Accompaniment: Assisting survivors in understanding their legal rights and supporting them through court processes.
  • Counseling & Support Groups: Providing emotional and psychological support through individual counseling and group sessions.
  • Community Education & Outreach: Raising awareness and educating communities about the impact of domestic violence and sexual assault.
  • Rural Outreach: Extending services to remote and rural areas, ensuring that all Alaskans have access to support.
  • Medical Accompaniment: Advocate accompaniment to medical appointments related to domestic violence and sexual assault”
  • Specialized Response Teams:
    • SART (Sexual Assault Response Teams): Coordinating a multi-disciplinary response to sexual assault cases to ensure survivors receive comprehensive care.
    • DART (Disability Abuse Response Teams): Addressing the unique needs of individuals with disabilities who have experienced abuse.
